Things you need to do before the flood

Flood - over the flow of water from rivers or streams that are normally caused by heavy rainfall. Some flooding is gradually growing, while some such as flash floods are generated in just a few minutes or hours of rain, destruction of the dam, or when rainwater exceeds the capacity of the vessel water in streets designed to release water to the metropolitan areas.

Here are the things you need to do before the flood

1.  Be alert to possible flooding if the rains continue.

2.  Listen to the radio for the necessary instructions.

3.  Store drinking water.

4.  Take the high ground pets.

5.  Put in place the high household.

6.  If told to evacuate, do this, do not panic, and go to a safe place before they reach the flood.

7. Turn off the main power switch and lock the house before leaving.
