The first four digits (such as 0999-9999999) that appear in each distinct 11-digit number from the various Philippine telecommunication networks, such as Globe, TM (Touch Mobile), Smart, TNT (Talk 'N Text), Sun Cellular, Cherry Prepaid, GOMO, and DITO Telecommunity, are known as the mobile number prefix or network prefix. Typically, these prefixes are used to identify the network or service provider that the phone number is registered with.
Furthermore, it's critical to understand your contact's number prefix. If you are enrolled in a promotion that is limited to the same network, you will need to call your contact's network provider to find out if your promo covers it or not. If not, there will undoubtedly be an additional cost. Keep in mind that this only applies to SIMs that haven't gone through the process of switching networks without losing your phone number or mobile number portability.
The list of all the mobile or cell phone number prefixes that will be available in 2024 for Globe, Touch Mobile (TM), Smart, Talk 'N Text, Sun Cellular, Cherry Prepaid, GOMO, and DITO telecom is provided below for your convenience.
